The Fokker Dr.I triplane was a German WW1 fighter aircraft. The Dr.I saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became famous as the aircraft in which Manfred Von Richthofen “The Red Baron” gained his last 19 victories, and in which he was killed on 21 April 1918.
We used two of these aircraft, in combination with other WW1 types, for “Wonder Woman”. Flying them into a grass strip, purpose made by us, on location. We then spent 7 absolutely freezing nights shooting their airfield scenes! Better to look back on than to do. If you’d like to know more about using them then give us a call.
