Our Studio Hanger Location / Facilities

We’re based at White Waltham Airfield near Maidenhead (SL6 3NJ), an original WW2 airfield in the beautiful Berkshire countryside, just 4 miles from the M4 (j8/9), 25 miles from London and a 20 minute drive from LHR.

At 420 acres White Waltham is the largest grass airfield in Europe. During wartime it was the home of the ATA where the famous women pilots would deliver aircraft from the factories to their new squadrons. Our office and some of our hangars are all real wartime buildings.

Locality to the big studios couldn’t be better; Pinewood / Shepperton 20 minutes, Leavesden and Longcross 30 minutes. We’re extremely film friendly with all the benefits of an airfield, its perimeter security and vast open space. If you’re shooting in one of our hangars then we’ll give you your own access gate with coded entry. With So much grass and concrete hard standing we can accept the largest unit base and offer parking for literally hundreds of cars.

Smaller Productions are welcome to use our office for Green Room / Changing / Make Up / Loos and Kitchen. Having said that several big names have chosen to abadoned their trailers in exchange for a cuppa in our comfy armchairs beside a real log fire! Take a look at our office here. Theres a restaurant on site that are used to catering for small to medium sized crews. Just up the road in Maidenhead we have a great selection of hotels as well as Maidenhead train station that offers a 20 minute fast train to/from London Paddington. Our office has fantastic Wifi and all the major mobile operators give 4G on site.

Modern Hangar
17,500 sq ft of modern hangar. Completed in Spring 2017, its 95ft x 185ft with doors that open full width at either end. There are skylights and LED floods to the interior with plenty of power sockets. There’s concrete hardstanding at either end with direct access to the broader airfield. We’ll happily rent the complete hangar, or chunks of it, for short or longer periods.

Original WW2 Period Hangar
17,500 sq ft of 1940’s wartime period hangar. The dimensions are identical to our new hangar, 95ft x 185ft again with doors that open full width at either end. There are standard 240v power sockets throughout, 3 phase outlet as well as discreet LED lighting. Theres also running water. The hangar presents as very weathered although its water / wind tight. Again we’ll happily rent it by the day / week / month. Ideal for construction, storage or even to shoot in.
