There are numerous advantages to shooting a studio set rather than the real aircraft. We have a blog article about this very subject but it pretty much boils down as follows:

Studio Set Real Aircraft
Camera Tested Interior LED Lighting
Easy Exterior Light (no lights 20ft up on numerous cherry pickers)
Easy Exterior Blackout (no climbing 20ft up to stick blackout)
Seats on Quick Release Rails (remove easily for camera)
Floating Wall Sections (for camera access)
Gimbal Mounted (to simulate turbulence)
Comfortable and Controllable Studio Enviroment
No tricky airport access / airside insurance issues
